Public Consultation Website Design

Consultation websites for planning proposals.

When a scheme goes to public consultation, the website is doing a specific job: presenting the proposal clearly, and collecting what people think about it before the application goes in.

We have built over 250 of them for household-name developers, planning consultancies and marketing agencies. Drawings, masterplans, CGIs and downloadable documents presented properly, with an FAQ section and a feedback form that gives you responses in a form you can actually use.

Each one is built to the client’s branding and colour scheme, and the whole thing can be done on a white label basis. For that reason they do not appear in our portfolio — but ring us and we will happily send you links to look at.

A public consultation website presenting a planning proposal

What a consultation site needs

Present the scheme, gather the response.

Plans and documents

Masterplans, site drawings, CGIs and downloadable PDFs presented so people can actually read them, on a phone as well as a desktop.

Feedback forms that work

Structured responses you can summarise and submit, rather than a pile of free-text emails to sort through by hand.

FAQ sections

The questions that always come up, answered up front in expandable sections. Fewer phone calls for your team, and a clearer record of what was communicated.

White label as standard

Built entirely in your branding, or your client’s. Our name appears nowhere on it unless you want it to.

Common questions

Questions we get asked.

How quickly can a consultation site go live?

Faster than most projects, because the format is well established and we have built a great many of them. Tell us your consultation dates and we will tell you honestly whether they are achievable.

Can it be built entirely in our branding?

Yes. Every consultation site is built to match the client’s branding and colour scheme, and the whole project can be handled on a white label basis with our name nowhere on it.

Why are these not in your portfolio?

Because most are white label or commercially sensitive. Give us a ring and we will send you links to examples so you can see the work.

Do you work with planning and marketing agencies directly?

Very often, yes. A good deal of this work comes through planning consultancies and marketing agencies acting for the developer, and we are used to working as a silent partner.
